I’M A MAN (SOY HOMBRE) 

Michelle’s  (Maabelle) first short film. 

She wrote, produced, and starred in this powerful story alongside Armando Hernández, one of the most renowned and respected actors in the Mexican film industry. Directed by Juan Pablo Blanco, the project was selected for over 10 international film festivals, winning awards at ShortFilms Mexico, among others. This film emphasizes the critical importance of addressing mental health issues and the stigmas and taboos that still persist around them. Through this work, Maabelle aims to spark conversations that lead to a deeper understanding of mental illness and its impact on individuals and society.
